We take your engine’s performance to heart. Update your software in about an hour without any impact to your truck’s power. All eligible owners and lessees in the United States will receive a free extended warranty after completion.
Get answers on what the software update is designed to do, how it works, and more.
Let's clear the air.
It’s no secret. The software update enhances overall emissions performance by increasing the injection of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) into your catalytic system to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from your tail pipe.
This process leaves your truck’s torque, horsepower and responsiveness untouched, with little or no impact to fuel economy (based on driving conditions and model year, our tests showed up to 0.5 MPG).
Extra peace of mind, at no extra cost
Once you complete the software update at your local RAM dealership you will automatically receive free special extended warranty coverage. This offer applies to all eligible U.S. owners and lessees. Select your truck’s model year to learn more.
