What is Emissions Recall 67A?
Recall 67A is a software update for model years 2013-2018 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 pickup trucks powered by Cummins 6.7L Turbo Diesel engine.
The recall is a free software update that takes less than an hour to complete [at your local Ram dealership]. The software sends updated signals to the DEF injection system to lower tailpipe NOx emissions levels. This is accomplished by increasing the DEF dosing rate to the aftertreatment catalyst under certain conditions. It does not require any hardware or parts.
